Funerals are undoubtedly one of the hardest things that anyone has to go through in their life. The loss of a loved one can be difficult which is why more and more people are turning funerals into a celebration of sorts.

They are celebrating the life of someone that they cared about and someone who deserved to be smiled about instead of cried for. One way to personalize a funeral and really celebration a life is using inspiration poems to show how special that person ways.

Although a eulogy is often used to talk about a person, inspiration poems can make the people feel that they will be able to hold on to the person who died in a unique way. Inspiration poems take away the sadness of the day and instead, replace it with a feeling that you can leave the funeral with your head held high because you know that you can get through this tough time.

There are many ways to write inspiration poems at a funeral. You can put into the poem private thoughts that only the two of you shared, or something that represented the entire family. The main premise of this type of poem is that it conveys your feelings for the deceased and that the feelings are still very much alive. When a person passes on you never forget them, and certainly the feelings that you had for this person do not simply go away. Take this time to delve into your feelings and share them with the others that love them and cherish them as well.

It is important that you take the time to write your inspiration poems. Thing carefully about the best times you had with the person, and really sit down and think about everything that you have to say. You can use this time to put something humorous, serious, or thoughtful into the poem. It is a way to tell others about the times that you had with them, and how you appreciated those times.

It is always a good idea to include inspiration poems that friends and family wrote about the deceased in with the funeral program that is given out. This way the people that knew and loved them the most are able to take it home with them and read it later when the feelings of grief have lessoned. Not only will they appreciate you taking the time to write the poem, but they will appreciate the reminder of how wonderful that person was to everyone that surrounded them.
